This is the Jerzy Kalina's brave idea. Jerzy Kalina is well known from his sacral art activities. He designed altars for masses said by Pope John Paul II during his pilgrimages to Poland.
Kalina painted so called carton in life size. According to this carton Tomasz Tuszko executed stained glass window.
Window is very unique because it is monochrome. We are used to the colorfulness of stained glass, but in this case it is different. Sophisticated methods of painting and staining the glass was used here by Tomasz Tuszko. All was done to approach as close as possible to Kalina's design. Each piece of glass was painted and fired six times. Painting was made with the use of classic brush and air brush. wydruk pracy (witraż, mozaika, fusing, szkło gięte) PDF
