Glass mosaic

Mosaic pictures are made of small glass cubics. Dimensions of pieces are not greater then 1 cm x 2 cm.
Colorful opaque pieces of glass are fixed to the base. They create composition with never fading colors.
Mosaic could be applied to the walls, ceilings and floors. It is used as a standig alone panels or table tops also. We used it as a decoration of a tombstone.
The last stage of work is filling the small spaces (rifts) between the pieces of glass. The rift color match the color of glass. The weight of 1 sqm of ready mosaic is 20 kg.
The size of the work could be up to the needs. In case of free standings panels, their size should be not more than 1m x 2 m.
Installation. It is proceeded by fixing of the next parts to the base. Inallation of ca 3 sqm of mosaic daily is possiblle.
Materials. Smalta -cubics of opaque glass produced in Venetia. It is possible to buy the cubics coated with precious metals (gold etc).
